THE FORCE BEHIND FIERCE.

Fierce Futbol was founded by Brian Leighton who has 23 years of accumulated playing and coaching experience in the game of soccer. Off the field Brian has an extensive background in business management and entrepreneurship, where he currently owns four successful companies in various industries.

Brian founded Fierce Futbol on the idea of creating a one of kind program that offers significant resources and services to support player developmental as well as individual growth that formulates the pathway of success on and off the field.

As a coaching director and a team coach, Brian has worked with hundreds of players from the youngest youth levels to the collegiate level. His coaching experiences range from fundamental technical development at the u7 ages, to coaching in-depth tactical elements, to the college recruiting phases up to u19. Brian also spent 7 years coaching at the collegiate level where he supported the player development process on the field, providing support to the student for classroom success and ultimately preparing players for success after the game.

Throughout his experiences in the game, Brian has had the opportunity to work within a variety of club and program systems. He has analyzed player development initiatives, studied organizational structures and best management practices. Which in turn, has allowed him to identify opportunities to better support the athlete on and off the field.

Brian credits his relentless work ethic and driven mindset off the field due to being a highly passionate and self motivated athlete on the field. The mission of Fierce Futbol is to instill similar characteristics in our athletes by developing a culture of work ethic, a culture that embraces adversity and empowers athletes to take risks.
